Clergy, Activists Pray For Wage Boost


A number of clergy members as well as activists from Make the Road NY and other progressive groups have arrived at the Capitol to demonstrate in favor of an increase in the state’s minimum wage, an item that according to state leaders on both sides of the issue seems unlikely to be taken up in the waning days of this year’s session.
